A small selection of our impressive luxury custom built homes.
Designed by renowned J Mammone Architecture, 2 Price Ridge draws inspiration from the Brutalist architectural principles of forms and tone.
The exterior form and façade design incorporate modular elements which are distinct and unapologetic, creating the illusion that the building cascades from the rear of the property to the street frontage.
Built in the beautiful Emerald Hills estate on a sloping block, the unique arrangement of levels in response to the site topography creates a playful element in the design and makes for striking architecture.
Included in the brief was a majestic, 180-year old fig tree which stands at the centre of the estate. The owners were keen to maximise their view of this magnificent specimen from the rear of their property, with the floor to ceiling windows of their master bedroom to act as a frame for its natural beauty.
The design of this outstanding home has been executed to its full potential with great finesse. The high level of detail throughout has resulted in a stunning piece of architecture that has become well known in its local area.
Number 2 Price Ridge has a wealth of features that make it special. Very high ceilings – including a void of over six metres – give a feeling of endless space, complemented by commercial grade floor to ceiling windows throughout. Light spills onto polished concrete used to great effect throughout the ground floor, even extending into the garage. Throughout the home, the innovative effect of doors with oversized heights and widths was emphasised even further by square set door jambs and windows.
To gain an all-important cross-flow of air, windows were strategically positioned to not only maximise the view and help heat the home in winter, but act as a natural coolant in high summer temperatures. Even the stunning in-ground pool has a part to play in this design. Sited against the glass wall of the kitchen/dining area, it provides evaporative cooling by taking heat out of breezes before they hit the house.
The artistic effect of the ‘saw tooth’ ceiling of the generously sized theatre room is a stand-out feature, as are the LED lights that glow across its surface to great effect. The home is full of such touches, many of which are custom made such as cabinetry and flashings, which add to the overall architectural effect. In the kitchen, the Dolomite benchtop is a novel deviation from marble or granite.
This home is equally impressive externally. For example, the design incorporates the use of new Inex>Wallboard cladding, giving the exterior over the garage a look of off-form concrete. Further additional contrast was provided by adding in Colorbond’s Maxline 340. Meanwhile, around the perimeter of the property, stepped large-block sandstone retaining walls bring the warmth of natural elements to offset the ‘rawness’ of the house, whilst providing an enticing playground for energetic young children.
Stunning both inside and out. This 62 square home has been finished to the highest level of quality and inclusion.View Gallery

In early 2010, Fairmont Homes NSW won the tender to construct the Land Sales and Information Centre for Sydney’s newest estate, Gregory Hills.
We are proud to have completed this architecturally designed structure to the high standard that was necessary. It was a joy and pleasure for both the construction manager and supervisor to see the finished product at the quality it has come out of.
The structure was designed in such a way that once the sales centre has served its purpose as a sales office, it will be converted into a duplex.
External features of the building include a mixture of Shadowclad, colorbond sheeting, brickwork and render. The internal features display 4 step cornice, polished timber flooring, two storey glass voids, tiles and a café.
